CEO, McDowell, has worked with the ESSENCE FESTIVAL for 10 years, experiencing the festival from the eyes of an intern/volunteer, to now as a Sponsorship Activation Assistant and working directly with the ESSENCE team. The objective is to bring each sponsor's activation plans goals to life, and ROI. The week-long festival is the largest in the nation and includes live concerts, activations, day parties, screening rooms, talent meet and greets and more.
With McDowell's experience in sponsorship activation, she is able to bring your activation to life, carve out marketing tactics, create sponsorship packages, create consumer engagement elements, and work/consult your brand on how to promote your activation. McDowell had the pleasure of assisting the ESSENCE team with Samsung Galaxy's activation during the past festival. Also, for the 2019 ESSENCE Festival weekend, McDowell and her team assisted in the execution of The Black Excellence Brunch featuring Tina Knowles-Lawson.
