CEO, Jaleesa McDowell is a true testament with faith and a mindset change that anything is possible.  One thing she knows for sure, if you at least try, God will always meet you where you are and prepare you for success.  McDowell is an entertainment public relations professional with experience in sponsorship, event planning, and public relations.  McDowell has worked with brands/events such as: ESSENCE FESTIVAL, ATLANTIC RECORDS, BET HIP HOP AWARDS and MORE. 

 

She received her start in one simple goal and vision to create opportunity and provide a platform for creative professionals.  In 2009 she saw a need for fashion and beauty events in the local area to promote fashion designers, stylists, photographers, artists, boutiques, and small businesses as vendors.  McDowell leveraged relationships, media outreach, sold sponsorships, and was blessed with the help of family and friends to produce numerous events to showcase amazing talent in her local area.  Many participants in those events have gone on to pursue their dreams, gain exposure and inspire others, which is always the end goal-TO INSPIRE OTHERS.  From producing local events McDowell managed artists and also became a marketing representative for Atlantic Records coordinating promotional events during promo tour stops in Shreveport. 

 

During that time McDowell also wrote for blogs and national magazines.  McDowell also worked her way up from being a volunteer/intern for the ESSENCE FESTIVAL, which is the largest festival in the U.S., for three years to becoming a Sponsorship Assistant to the ESSENCE team and work for major sponsors and celebrities such as: SAMSUNG, MSNBC, TV ONE, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland, Rev. Al Sharpton, Chrisette Michele, Sevyn Streeter, Trevor Jackson, Common, Angela Simmons, Andrienne Bailon and so many more.  McDowell has remained humble throughout her budding career and always assists others on their journey to pursuing their passion by providing opportunities and advice.  McDowell says the best decision she has ever made was to change her mindset that fear is not a factor and with God anything is possible.  Life is about service and she doesn’t take her purpose lightly at all and every day she knows the #ASSIGNMENTISSTILLDUE and hopes to inspire others to live their dreams on purpose.
